12:30pm

hi kids. sick of being sick. i sounded like a monster/alien when i woke up this morning. so what did i do? called my sister, of course, so she could hear my crazy voice. but after coughing a bit, washing my face&brushing my teeth, i'm sounding normal again. even feeling better. i'm drinking coffee with almond milk (20) & ovaltine (40) in it. i'm in sort of a good mood. however, my lips have been terribly chapped lately (i have nivea chapstick, i just forget about it). i bit my bottom lip in my sleep so it was bloody&sore when i woke up. how delightful.
summer (my mother's new cat) is adjusting. it's blurry because if i use a flash she shuts her eyes.

but she doesn't like our pets. i've been getting her used to surprise. or trying to. i was holding surprise on the floor in my lap so summer could see her. she went behind me&tried to slap surprise but got my arm. so if anyone asks, it was the bandersnatch, not summer, who scratched me.

i hope you know what a bandersnatch is. great movie.  my arms look bad. as in big. hmph. anyway, i'm going to go lie around on the couch with my phone, ipod touch, &a book so i can keep an eye on summer&surprise. then going to take some antibiotic ointment&track down spinny (my calico) to put it on her shoulder because it's looking nasty. thinking maybe she ran into a raccoon. oh boy.

p.s. i was hungry (specifically for a lunchable (350) in the fridge until i went searching for photos.

p.p.s. i don't know if you're sick of seeing photos of my pets&such, i just like to add a personal touch so you guys know i'm a real person. i feel less sneaky that way.
