12:08pm

going swimming today. also, surprise did not break her leg. my brother's dog did. she's smaller than surprise. she looks pitiful/adorable with her pink cast.
surprise is fine, all four legs intact. perseus is stuck trying to walk while dragging that giant cast around. my brother's wife keeps a dog bed beside her&moves perseus room to room so she won't be alone. anyway, swimming. i bought some tanning oil to help my legs get a little darker so i won't get sunburned at camp. i know, a week isn't enough time to get a tan outdoors but every little bit helps. just a step up from ghostly pale. hmm...nothing else to say. time for photos.

or:
okay. the girl on the left in both photos is the same girl. in the left photo, she looks thin in comparison. but then you put her next to someone thinner in the photo on the right&she begins to fall out of the thin category&fall into average. funny how that works. i want to be the thinnest. stay strong today, lovelies.

p.s. please cross your fingers for me, i have to wear a bikini around my family&be around food all day.

  1. Aww, I hope Perseus has a speedy recovery! The pink cast is too cute, lol. I will cross my fingers for you hun! I know the feeling... I'll probably be taking trips with friends to the beach in the next week or so.

  3. Aww poor Perseus. Glad she's getting lots of TLC.

And yeah I can relate with the tanning. I was never quite as pale as you are but I was pretty damn white. It took me a good month or so tanning 2-3 days a week to get to a point where I felt tan enough, whatever that means. Just don't do it for more than an hour at a time! Don't wanna get sunburned now. =) Good luck!

  9. Awww, poor Perseus... you're so right-- he looks pitiful and strangely adorable at the same time. Hope he's feeling better soon!

Good luck to you getting tanned before the camp starts... being ghostly pale? I can so relate to that, love, I still haven't found the perfect lightest shade of make-up that will fit my face, hahaha :)

Best of luck to you, darling!!
    Love,
