9:16am

hey, i'm alive. my sister was in town for the week. she left last night. sprained my ankle a few days ago, can't do many of my workouts because if i put weight on it then my eyes water (i do not cry). really fucking frustrating. plus it looks like a tumor on the side of my ankle&even my toes are swollen. i'm realizing how self-reliant i am though. really, incredibly stubborn. i'd rather hop to the kitchen to carry something back to my room (or bring a bag&use my crutches) than to ask my mother to get it.
my sister was the best about it. she bought me a wrap/bandage, ice pack, tons of powerade, &she even went to the thrift store in my town&bought a pair of crutches for $5. best sister ever. i miss her already.
what i don't miss is "let's go to sonic&get breakfast burritos" or "you haven't been to freebirds? we have to go today." or "how many taquitos do you want?" it was hard to hide food around her&even harder to purge with a sprained ankle (ouch? not taking that for granted again). but i didn't gain which is good i guess. that's all that's new, i think. i got my license but it doesn't really matter until i get a job. just being a teenager. i want some hot sunnies to wear when i'm skinny. or sunglasses, if you don't call them sunnies.

or:
if you look like you eat everything you see, you might want to keep your tongue contained when it's time to take photos. stay strong today, lovelies.

xoxo

p.s. fucking love orange tic tacs.

  1. I hope your ankle gets better soon. I'm quit stubborn to. I will hop around on one leg just so I can get up and get things myself. I need a new pair of sunglasses now. I'm going to have to go see if I can find another pair later today since I traded mine for not sunglasses. I've never heard them be called sunnies before.

Hope your ankle gets better soon, girl. It's no fun being bed-ridden, although it seems to me you're trying really hard to fight that!

  4. I just want some sunnies to wear under my helmet. I'm going to get wrinkles soon from squinting while I ride! Nooooooo! I'm trying to avoid thinking about entering my late 20s :'(

*Sends healing thoughts at your ankle* Lol, you should let your mum get you something every once-in-a-while. She'll feel like a bad mum and get grumpy at you for that, irrational as it is. Make her the coffee express?

    Love you! xoxoxoxo
